Datacenter Move

July 4, 2008 – 9:26 pm

Dear Customers, We are pleased to announce that we are going to be moving all accounts and servers to one US location, this being the prestigous 530 W 6th St, Los Angeles datacenter. With the many benefits that moving there brings it will also allow us to colocate our own equipment now and in the future as well as retain more control than ever before.

We understand that all of our customers want stability and we are making this move for that very reason, we ask that you understand that our only motivation is to improve the services that we bring to you our customers.

Our shared hosting customers do not need to change anything and your sites will be on the new server shortly and you should experience no downtime.

Our reseller hosting customers will receive an email with their new ips at the new facility and we advise you to update them as soon as possible, but you have a window of 14 days before the server your currently on will be turned off so please do so before then.

We look forward to a time of stability and service improvement and if you have any questions at all contact us through the normal support channels. Best Regards, The Fly High Team.

Datacenter Move - Don’t Worry !

April 20, 2008 – 6:10 pm

As many of you already know we are moving datacenters from Softlayer to The Planet.
We believe The Planet are one of if not the best datacenter in the USA.

This move is designed to help improve uptime and network perfomance for all our customers.

We have been and will continue to prepare for this move, Its likely that we will send you an email with new ip address’s for you to change to on the 30th of this month (Although possibly earlier this is the most likely date).

We will have all our “old” servers online until the 7th so while there is no rush for you to make the move, we encourage you to change your ip’s as soon as you receive the new ones.

It’s likely you will experience little to no downtime, but it is possible you may experience up to an hour due to dns propagation

We are doing everything to make this move as smooth as possible and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.

During the move you will be able to get updates direct from us at www.flyhighcentral.com

Kind Regards,

The Fly High Team.

New site and forums !

April 18, 2008 – 7:13 am

We have just changed our site design and also added a forum.
Both are new and we’d really appreciate any feedback you can give us.
Both will be worked on and improved and hopefully we can get a great community going with new and old clients and anyone else that wants to join.

Updates on spitfire

April 16, 2008 – 2:54 pm

Due to recent security needs, we`ve installed a new security component to prevent buffer exploits and several other problems that a hacker gaining access to one of the accounts could cause. If you have any issues, open up a ticket, and one of our staff members will get on checking your issues.
